The later in the game you get though the more critical is becomes to watch for nice set/subset combos. I can solo ice golem 18 with him which is pretty badass for a champion as limited as he isĮdit: oh yeah gear. One of my first rares was corpulent cadaver who isn’t actually that great of a hero but is HP based (I’ve got him up in the 90,000s ) who is self shielding and has limited self healing through immortality sets and masteries and he still kicks butt for me. When you are building a more defensive team it is generally a better plan to focus on heroes that desk their damage based on defense or HP rather then trying to keep an attack hero pumped up health wise but that is just in general, you can certainly make it work. Trust me I hear you I switched over to an all HP/defense hero team the second I could get away with it. But their aren’t any easy to get/free to farm heroes that make as potent a combo as the one above so you need more lucky terms of pulls from shards to put together something strong. Ultimately yes you can do a sustainable team strategy early game. Even though is it and if yes, when will it be worth to sacrifice my strong lifesteal set? (I think all are epic items) For damage, the Spirithost bonus (and Warpriest's when this one is down) and Shaman's crit rate increase should be enough, I suppose?Īnd btw, even now my Warpriest has around 20k HP (even when my team has overall 19-20k power) and can basically solo clear the first and maybe second faction war stages with her.Īnd thanks for the crit tip, will have it in mind. I've put a lifesteal set + divine offense set on Elhain which makes her pretty tanky and sustainable, then the Shaman to revive her when Elhain dies then that lifesteal I have on her to bring her back (a 3 or 4-man Valley of Death could heal me to full from the 25 or 50% HP I will have when revived), then taking in consideration the Shaman's shield additionally I have the Warpriest AoE healing. Will a sustain strategy work for early too? Cuz I'm actually aiming for a high sustain team (I'm a League player originally and I just love being the frontline draintank who heals like crazy) - making Elhain the "immortal carry". Early game just take what you can get, but long term watch for nice pieces of crit gear It’s hard to pull off when you are still new but getting crit rate to 100% then focusing on getting crit damage up will ultimately deal more damage then focusing on getting attack up. Good rule of thumb is start looking at more defensive teams at about the time you reach lvl 11-13ish in dungeons Survivabiliy will eventually matter a lot but not much in early game, when combos like that one can just one shot steamroller every thing in your path. But if you get those 3 set up right you can go a long ways (though not forever) just on that combo. Then fill your final slot with whatever takes your fancy. Make sure you get their speed in the right order (highest speed always goes first) so the spirit host goes first warmaiden benefits from attack up and goes second and elhain in your best offensive gear goes third and benefits from both attack up and defense down. The benefits from that (and from weaken if you find a hero who can provide that for you) do stack with the atk up from spirit host. a big fat bust.īetter early game strategy is to farm up a warmaiden for her aoe def down attack rather then going for the two atk up options. I farmed on normal difficulty, on hard difficulty, on the boss fight, on other various previous fights. Does anyone know the chances for it to drop Spirithost? Because I have literally made around 75-90 games, and from all those games, it dropped me that goddamn Greybeard AT LEAST 4 times, if not 5 or 6, I don't remember already because I might have used one or two of them for champ level ups and not even once did it drop Spirithost. So, I've been grinding that campaign location, AND IT NEVER DROPPED HER. So, I see that Durham Forest drops Spirithost which sounds like pretty good option - an ascended Strengthen skill gives 50% atk bonus, combined with Warpriest's 25% atk boost so a 75% attack boosted level 5 Valley of Death (I already lucked with the skill upgrades so I have it already) is gonna be doing some nutty oneshots. So, I am a pretty new player, and I have this idea in mind - to have one carry - Elhain, and three supports around her to tank the damage for her, keep her alive and buff her.
